Salary range: $85,000-$225,000 DOE

Lucid Circuit is a Santa Monica-based company developing energy-efficient signal processing and machine learning platforms for aerospace applications. Through significant improvements of onboard processing capabilities, spaceborne and airborne applications can see reduced communication bandwidth requirements and reduced latency for delivery of analytics approaching real-time. AstrumTM is Lucid Circuit’s line of radiation-tolerant and energy-efficient processors for reliable high-performance cognitive applications in edge devices.

Who we’re looking for and what your responsibilities will be

As a member of the team working on Astrum ™ tools and devices, you will focus on developing our hardware-software Continuous Integration environment. This is an opportunity to work with subject matter experts in custom tooling for novel architectures, compilers, statistical learning, microelectronics, semiconductors and radiation physics. A broad technical background is central to this unique opportunity to solve challenging optimization problems at Lucid Circuit.

U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required. No H1B or OPT sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect bare metal provisioning of CI/CD infrastructure
  • Architect and deploy CI/CD tools and services
  • Architect and deploy large distributed secure file systems
  • Develop CI/CD automated checkpoint and snapshot processes
  • Configure, deploy and maintain High Availability simulation, emulation and data storage environments
  • Contribute to cloud deployment and provisioning of custom AI hardware and tools
  • Contribute to development and deployment of ML run-time performance heuristic models
  • Streamline CI/CD procedures through automation project management servers
  • Establish and enforce test-driven CI/CD practices

Required Qualifications – Must meet ALL of these requirements to be considered:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of proven experience
  • Excellent CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GoCD, MaaS, Ansible, Git…)
  • Expert in Linux/Unix or BSD environment to include shell scripting
  • Excellent in one or more scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, C/C++…)
  • Self starter that takes initiative and is comfortable working independently as well as in a team
