Position: Accounting Manager
Type: Full time – US Citizen or Permanent resident only.

At Lucid Circuit, we are developing a novel aerospace-focused cognitive edge resilient processor and tools. Join Lucid Circuit and shape the narrative innovating aerospace-focused, cognitive edge-resilient processors and tools. As a Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for making sure our processes and accounting transactions are running efficiently. Your duties will include maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, and tax compliance issues. You must have experience providing robust modeling and reporting to facilitate executive-level decision making and support business operations. This position can transition into a Controller role.

U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required. No H1B or OPT sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing
  • Prepare financial statements and monthly revenue reports
  • Analyze and provide information regarding financial information
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of budget and management throughout year
  • Run payroll, conduct invoicing
  • Manage and track employee benefits
  • Perform special projects and initiatives, as needed
  • Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Develop best-in-class processes for various areas within accounting and financial operations.
  • Maintain and create standard work instructions for all key processes
  • Research tax credits and incentives that companies should consider to generate cash tax savings and improve cash flow.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance
  • CPA is required
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • SOX, audit and/or compliance experience
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously and manage multiple deadlines, and work with grace under pressure
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or complex company
  • FP&A experience, valuations, price modeling
  • Experience with researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
  • Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges
  • Inventory accounting experience is a plus
  • Excellent presentation and spreadsheet tools skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Interest in learning new technical skills, including financial modeling tools
